Big groups · Three teams or more welcome
How to play Devil’s Team Lo-Net 3
Devil’s Team Lo-Net 3 is built for a big group split into teams. On every hole, your team’s three lowest net scores are added up. The round is three separate six-hole contests, and the lowest team total over each six wins that six.

Best three net scores, every hole
Teams need at least three players. Bring more and only your best three count on each hole; the rest are dropped. The game works with two, three, four or more teams.
The sixes are holes 1–6, 7–12 and 13–18. A team that struggles through the first six can still win the middle or closing six.
Each six is its own contest
Every team puts the same agreed amount into each six, and the lowest team total takes all of it. Invented example: three teams, 1 unit a six, so 3 units are at stake in each six. Win a six and your team is up 2; lose one and it is down 1. Win one of the three and you finish even.
| Six | Winner | Team A | Team B | Team C |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Holes 1–6 | A | +2 | −1 | −1 |
| Holes 7–12 | B | −1 | +2 | −1 |
| Holes 13–18 | C | −1 | −1 | +2 |
Devil’s Team Lo-Net 3 in Turnt
A tie for the lowest total in a six is not split. Turnt compares the tied teams on that six’s hardest handicap hole, then the next hardest, until one team is lower; that team wins the six. Only teams tied on every hole of the six split it.
Common questions
How many players do we need?
At least two teams of three, so six golfers. Larger groups can add teams or bigger teams.
Why three scores instead of one?
Counting three makes it a team game: one hot player cannot carry the side alone.
How is it different from Team Lo-Net?
Team Lo-Net uses front nine, back nine and overall. This game always counts three scores and plays three sixes.
