Privacy Policy

Turnt Golf (“we”, “us”) is a golf scoring + chat web app at turntgolf.com. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

• Account data: email (used for magic-link sign-in) and an auth.users record created by Supabase Auth.
• Player profile data: first/last name, GHIN number, handicap index. These are entered by you (or by the app user who added you to their roster).
• Round data: scores, scoring events, course played, tee selection, chat messages within a round.
• Course preferences: your default course and chirp (text-to-speech) toggle setting.
• Mobile number (optional): if you choose to opt in to text messages, we collect the mobile number you provide and a record of your consent. Providing a number is never required to use Turnt Golf.

We do not collect or process any payment, banking, or financial-account information. Turnt Golf does not handle money.

Third-party services

• Supabase— stores account, player, round, and chat data.
• Vercel— hosts the app.
• ElevenLabs— (optional, if you enable Cart Chirps) text-to-speech for bot trash-talk.
• OpenAI— generates the bot's trash-talk commentary text and powers the GHIN / scorecard photo import.

Mobile information & SMS

If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number only to send the messages you signed up for — game invites, score and round updates, and the occasional beta update. We collect your number and a timestamped record of your consent.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances. Mobile opt-in data is excluded from the third-party sharing described above. We only share your number with the messaging provider that delivers our texts on our behalf, solely to send the messages you requested.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. See our Terms of Service for the full messaging terms.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: open your profile (the person icon), then tap Delete account. This permanently removes your login and personal details (name, phone, email, and GHIN #). Your scores in shared rounds are anonymized, and rounds you organized remain available to the other players but are no longer linked to you. You can also request access to or correction of your data by emailing the contact below.
